What made you want to be involved in the programme?

The programme design and intent are second-to-none. Not only are the projects aimed at solving particular, highly important issues facing the government sector, they lift the capability and capacity of its workforce, challenge the way we think and offers us new ways of working. We see this as a fundamentally Human Forward programme that aligns perfectly with our brand promise.

What’s the biggest challenge for governments today?

Some of the greatest challenges facing governments today are finding ways to create a culture of innovation, attract and retain world-class talent and collaborate effectively across agencies.

Why is NZ the ideal place to build the GovTech sector from?

We know from our research that the Government sector is one of the most attractive in NZ.  The variety of work, the ability to affect change and the career opportunities are endless.  We have a unique opportunity to create the most progressive and innovative government agencies across the globe, to become a true talent magnet to bring Kiwis home and attract industry leaders from off-shore. Randstad have a part to play in helping Government agencies to identify and select the best candidates to deliver these projects.

What’s the value of investing in GovTech?

We are keen to see how these innovation projects can support the growth, development and well being of all Kiwis.
